Who we are
Phoebe and Darby have been married since 1976. They have always enjoyed their individual expressions of art. Phoebe has been sculpting since a child, and Darby learned to throw in high school. Their collaborative work is a culmination of their many years together.
Phoebe sculpts to bring forth the underlying essence of what she sees and feels in her world around her.
Darby throws pots to bring forth vessels of centered beauty for the world to use.
Phoebe and Darby have chosen to work in a rich red clay that needs no glaze when fired to its full maturity. The inherent beauty of the clay, and the work of their hands is showcased this way. All of their pieces are frost-proof in the garden; and dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe in the home. Their ware is designed for the rigors of daily life, providing satisfaction for all the senses.
