What a beautiful fall we are having. We wish you a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving!
Happy New Year! And what a year it’s been! Darby had to have his gall bladder out just before Christmas. So, for all the recovering and recuperating we need to do after Darby’s surgery and the fantastic holidays, we are closing the shop for a wee bit. We will be closed Tuesday, January 1 through Wednesday, January 16. We’ll open back up on Thursday, January 17, in full swing production to catch up after the holidays. During this time we won’t be answering the phone, but we’ll keep an eye on our email if anything comes up!
Thank you for your patience!
We are excited to host the Jack-O-Lantern Workshop in September and October in preparation for Halloween. Darby will throw the base shape and Phoebe will lead participants in manipulating the shape into a spooky, whimsical, or what have you Jack-O-Lantern. And, the best part is that these spooky additions to your Halloween decorations won’t rot at the end of the season. Space is limited, so please register early to guarantee your spot. Come for a delightfully fun 3 hour session gathered round the work table exploring your fantasy of the perfect Jack-o-Lantern. All workshops are for any skill level. Cost is $40, and includes materials and firing.
Sat., September 15, 2-5 PM
Sat., October 13, 2-5 PM
Join us during Gallery Walk to celebrate our new studio/gallery space downtown. We are now in Flagship Landing at 1011 Water St.. No more stairs to climb! Our whole production studio is here with our gallery. Now you can see it being made while you peruse the finished wares. Tonight we will be serving apricot/rhubarb crisp cooked in our pottery. Yumm!! And of course there will be wine, and now a lovely view of the bay out our windows too. We are very excited to have a place to directly connect with our customers in all aspects of our creation process. Great place for our workshops too next to the window on the bay.
We are excited to be in Flagship Landing now in downtown Port Townsend. Phoebe is already there with gallery space and sculpting studio. Soon Darby will be working down here too, throwing on the wheel. All our visitors will be able to see us both at work and view finished wares all in one place! Drop by for a visit and get a good look at our new digs.
It’s time for another workshop! This is the first time offering “Bowl and Spoon”. There is something so satisfying about making your very own set of basic eating ware. We want you to have a chance to enjoy that too!
Come for a delightfully fun 3 hour session creating your very own personal bowl and spoon. Darby will guide you through making a bowl on the wheel and Phoebe will guide you through sculpting your own spoon. Play and learn, in a relaxed, comfortable setting. Appropriate for all experience levels. $30 fee per person includes materials and firing. Limit of 6 people. Saturday, March 17, 1 – 4PM. Come by the shop to register.
